A candle holds a powerful story, and like any great tale, it must be handled with care. To ensure your journey with our candle is a safe and wondrous one, heed these ancient words of caution.

The First Illumination: When you first set fire to the wick, allow the candle to burn until the entire top layer of wax has melted to the edges. This "full melt pool" prevents tunneling, a tragedy that will shorten the candle's story.

The Wick's Whisper: Before each re-illumination, use a wick trimmer to trim the wick to 1/4 inch. A trimmed wick ensures a clean, even flame and keeps the tale burning bright.

A Shield Against Calamity: Always burn your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from any flammable objects, drafts, or wandering curtains. Never, under any circumstance, leave a burning candle unattended, for even the most beautiful magic can be unpredictable.
