A Keeper's Guide to Your Wood Wick

• Remove Regalia First: The gold-plated skull and crystals are treasures from the Underworld. Please remove the skull and any loose crystal pieces before lighting the candle. This preserves the keepsake and ensures a clean burn.

• Prepare the Ember: Before each use, prepare the fire’s ember by trimming the wooden wick to about 1/8 inch. This ensures a clean and steady flame.
  

• The First Burn: For the very first burn, allow the melt pool to reach the edges of the chalice. This prevents tunneling and ensures the candle burns evenly all the way down.

 

The Ancient Rules of the Flame

• Never leave the flame without a watchful eye.

• Keep your candle away from any loose scrolls, fabrics, or other flammable objects.

• Let your candle burn for no more than four turns of the hourglass (4 hours) at a time.

• When the wax in the chalice is down to the last 1/4 inch, the fire’s tale is complete. Discontinue use to keep your vessel safe.
